please i need help quick. I hesitating between the Yamaha R15 and the Yamaha R125 Huh.
I know that R125 is for Europe Tongue but thats not a problem.
The yamaha r125 is obviously much more beautiful than the R-15 Cool.
What am wondering is  the Yamaha R125 worth its money or is the R15 better Huh.
Also,based on your opinion, which one is the more stylish the R15 or R125.
The Yamaha YZF R-125 is really expensive  :'(since it has just been released.
I hate the R15 style Angry but i really like the R125, it reminds me of the R1.
You guys see my conundrum, so please help me.

Hi first of all let me be very honest that we have tried R15 but not R125

According to looks the R125 is much better then the R15. Ymaha claims it to be a copy of R1 but we dont think so. The front part though the full fairing is there and looks like a big bike the back end is totally left out.

You may opt for R125 is possible. But we liked the performance of R15.

if i were in ur place - i would go for teh r125

on the r15 - only the front fairing and other bits and pieces have been picked up from the r1

while on the r125 - its an almost perfect clone

I think R15 is better ... I mean, 2 horsepower extra, also extra torque @ low revs ...

You'll regret taking R125 for India, reasons:--->

1. Get 95 octane Fuel only ... normal fuel un-useable!  Undecided

2. Riding in 6th gear, you'll have to downshift to 5th to overtake, even if you are at 8000 rpm ...

and don't even THINK about carrying Luggage or Pillion ...

3. Riding position very uncomfortable ... it is Sporty, but about touring?

4. Too expensive for a 125 cc... 3000 Pounds. Rs. 2,40,000+ Taxes?? for 15 bhp only?Huh

I say this because I have read those people's opinions who have R125 ... believe me!

& With R15 you get service, insurance, more power. So, Still want to pay more price for 15 bhp, instead of 17 bhp @ better price ??

Go for R15, I say ... but for almost the same cash, have you considered Ninja 250, to be released soon in India?

@ punjabi puttar:

i think the r125 is better in looks and has a racy seating position.

however, the r15 looks quite good from the front but it looks kinda incomplete from the back

for a guy investing about 1 lakh in a bike, i think the r125 is a better option in terms of looks

however, i agree with you on the engine front - 125 cc is quite small for indian style riding

also, i think the ninja is going to be quite more expensive than the r15 - i dont know exactly though....

I agree R15 has a bad tail, but we can modify, add Rs. 10,000 for that & still it's better deal!

Yes, Ninja 250 may cost around Rs. 2.1 Lacs ... but R125 is more expensive than Ninja ...

R125 = Rs. 2,40,000+ Import Taxes !!

would you pay Rs. 2.4 Lacs (!!) for 15 bhp only, like Pulsar 150 Huh Obviously, I will NOT ...
