Well i have attained a dashing 115 Kmph in a Karizma (ZMA) and 95 kmph in my Caliber with 2 people at my back.

120kmph in apache 160 RTR but the showroom said it can have a highest speed of 118kmph

You are absolutely correct. It could reach a top speed more than 118 kmph. Company actually claims 118 kmph tested on their test track with standard test conditions.... Smiley

You guys missings the formula of high speed Grin

Highest speed attainded by you= actual speed showing on the speedometer + 10% of the actual speed

Usually as per thumb rule
Highst speed attainded  by you= this is the value you dream to achieve (please note while quoting this value never wrongly mention mph in that case the kmph value will again be multiplied approximately 1.5 times)

well as per my test of the two bikes I have been able to pull 115kmph & 118kmph in Apache & FZ16 respectively.

I clocked 117 on my FZ-S, did attend about 210 on my VFR but to be very honest the speed droped to 90 after a fraction of seconds coz it scared the crap out of me...lol

152 in my drag built rx(speedgun)
137 in my pulsar 200(speedgun)
144 on the latest 220 (21 bhp) (meter reading)
227 on a cbr 600
285 on an R1
200 on a Honda VFR-400
175 in a full blown RD
148 in an RX-KING (the malaysian 6-speed rx) (speedgun)
234 in kawasaki ninja zx-6R
305 on the HAYABUSA (MUHAHAHAHAHAHHA IT WAS CRAZY,cudn't see anything lol)
