Hello.
I’ve recently shifted to Noida from Siliguri and have been using the public transport since I’ve moved here. Fed up by it, I asked my father to buy me a new bike. Although he turned down my request, he is sending my Bajaj Pulsar 150cc (the first model that was ever released) from Siliguri.
Once it’s here, I want to modify the hell out of it and make it look absolutely sexy. I also want to improve its performance without lowering the mileage much. The bike is in very good shape as it is, although it turns off the ignition if you don’t keep idling it all the time and the rear tyre skids around a lot.
I want to fix those drawbacks and do some other modifications, specially in the looks department. The only modification I’ve done yet is installed a self-start mechanism. Now, here is a long list of modifications I’ve read (on the Internet) can be done to a Pulsar:
Performance: Muffler K&N Air Filter Jetting Clip-on handlebars Rear disk brake Xenon headlamp Gas shock absorbers Handlebar lock (on one of the front shocks) Automatic alarm system (Autocop) Parking switch Handle grips Medicine kit Racing chain guide Changed sprocket Carburetor tuning Crank boring Fuel-tap (with key) Front Shock Reflectors (TVS) Extra head lamps (on leg guards) ExhausTec silencer Programmable CDI 180 Block and Piston Exhaust tuning
Looks: Kits Stickers (with lacquer) Thicker, tubeless tires (Barracuda) Tail lamp (Karizma; Unicorn) Tyre rim (Mag wheels; Pulsar 180cc) Sporty mirrors Lamps (above rear tyre; rear mudguard; under front fairing; between engine and tank) Paint job on engine (black) Seat Tank flap cover (scratch and leak proof) Tank scratch guard (laminated stickers) Pilot lamps (5-in-1 LED; blue bulbs) Rearview mirrors with indicator bulbs Extra silencer Digital console
I have a budget of around Rs. 20,000. Can you guys please help me choose the best mods I can make to my bike within my rather limited budget? The one thing most important to me, besides improving performance, is that the bike should look (and sound) absolutely brand new and different after I’m done with it. I don’t want a regular old Pulsar anymore.
Thank you.

Modifying a Bike like Pulsar with ur budget is very difficult.
But try to get the quotation on below parts
If u need to ve a cool look, Try to get a Superbike body kit.Always take the advice from a mechanic who is specialist in altering Bikes.Otherwise kit wont suit ur pulser.Put the headlight and taillamp according to that body.Thicker, tubeless tires (Barracuda),K&N Air Filter,Fit dual exhaust which suits to the body and Hayabusa handlebar, For performance u can go with reboring of cylinder and an oversize piston. Also enquire whether this much power can handle a Big body or not....
U ll get Decals and other related sfuffs by online purchase.....

Thanks a lot for all the replies, guys. After reading them, giving it some thought, and talking it over with my father, I’ve whittled down my list to just these eight upgrades:
K&N Air Filter Clip-on handlebars Rear disk brake HID with projectors headlamp (Xenon) Thicker, tubeless tires (Barracuda) Tyre rim (Mag wheels; Pulsar 180cc) Sporty mirrors New colour
Can someone please give me an estimate of how much these things will cost me (my budget has also been lowered now to “the lowest possible amount you have to spend to get just the most essential things modified”)? What sort of colour should I go for (like, what quality and all that)? Will I see any performance improvement from these upgrades? What size tires would be most ideal?
And, most importantly, can someone recommend me a really good place in Delhi/NCR where I can get these things done for cheap?
Thanks, once again, to all of you for taking the time to reply.
