you cant directly increase the top speed. it is very complicated,
you need to change the gear ratios.... Smiley Smiley Smiley Undecided Undecided Undecided

Hi RokrX,
I was getting the same 101 kmph 3 months ago. Better you should clean your air filter and change the oil filter. Changing engine oil could be helpful a bit too, if its in that condition. And a complete service at yamaha workstation. These things helped me to get a max display speed of 113 kmph. You should try to reduce bike weight and check proper air pressure in both tyre. This small changes can give you optimized result and an increase in the top speed.
You shouldn't go for a modification until unless you get a very experienced and good mechanic who understands FZ16 well.

Ride safe bro.

Thanks AD. Smiley
Yes! I mean, most of us go to the local mechanic and implement some modification. The mechanic could be very experienced but, they mostly apply the same treatment for 100 to 220 cc bike regardless of the manufacturer. They may have some successful treatments, but not every bike is the case where they are appreciated. Better to go with a very good and well known mechanic who can deal different bike differently. Even better to stick with the factory config, ant try to buy a new one with higher performance.
After all it’s not just a motile machine; it’s your very own BIKE. Wink
