hmm new bike consumes a lot of fuel initially.....

Filing the FIR:

I got 10 Liters of petrol filled when i took the delivery of the bike. Now the bike is running in reserve. In ON position it ran for exact 230 Kms. Taking into consideration that bike has 3.5 Lts of reserve can i calculate the mileage as below?

230/6.5= 35.5 Kmpl?

Pls advise whether the mileage is ok/bad/worst?

Ok, here is the initial verdict. My bike gives me a mileage of 50 in city and 56 on highway. First service is due for tomorrow,Hoping to get more mileage after 1st service. Very good performance.

Never realized the importance of riding the bikes under 60 KMPH. Here in the GS 150, ECO mode doest allow you to cross 60 so the mileage is always good. I used to ride my Hunk at 80-90 always and the mileage was 38-39 on highway also Sad  Sad
