I need a new bike for the streets of Bangalore. my ride will be almost 50k on weekdays with a lot of traffic half the way.

I used to have a CBZ Xtreme and i loved it. Now i want a new one and am confused.

I want to know the mileage of these bikes if someone can tell me that and also reliability. I liked Fazer but dont know abt it fuel efficiency. GS150 has a good fuel efficiency but i didnt like it in looks as it looks a lot like CBZ.

Also I have never used a mono shock bike so am facinated towards that but pulsar has nice speed to chanllange that...

Please suggest...

as per experience Fazer & FZ16 has poor fule efficiency as per City like Bangalore is concerned.

I think Pulsar will be better.

P220 DTSI: 42 KMPL
RTR 180: 45 KMPL
FZ: 43 KMPL

As per your requirement RTR 180 will be the best choice. But personally I think Santanu is correct. Go with Pulsar 220, bigger capacity, more power, more torque. However I ride FZ16, great style. Go for it if looks matters too much. Not big difference in kmpl between above above bikes.

Thats true Insane. But I think Bajaj has end up with the production of FI version of pulsur 220. End of the LEGEND. Its only DTS-i now.

i took test rides on 2 bikes today..

1st was TVS RTR180... i loved it... the sitting position the pickup... problem is the same old look and the tyres...

2nd was Fazer... i liked the sound but didnt liked the bike a lot... i was not able to ride it freely and was not comfortable...

Then i went to bajaj Probiking showroom... it had an opening yesterday and all the rest of the showrooms stopped selling the bikes... and as this is a new showroom they have no test drive bikes... they took me in a testing room and was asked to test it there itself. .... i asked them if they can give a test ride next week and they asked me to call/..

Now... i am going for either RTR costing me 75k or 220 costing me 79k... what do u say guys...

I think u should go with P220 3-4 kmpl will not make a big difference. But what u'll get is more power. And the reviews are goo too. But u should know the breaking is not too good as the RTR. RTR is also very good in corners, giving more confidence, unlike pulsar.

Still I think, go for P220.

Guys... i am unable to decide... i want to take a test drive of P220 but am unable to get that. How can i invest on something which I am not confident on. Atleast i drove RTR and know how it is... but dont have the same feeling for P220.

I think u should wait for testing P220. Coz the competition is close. I think u should wait and test this too. Sitting position would not be as good as RTRs. As far as looks matters I think RTR looks more aggressive. But again u should wait as P220 is also quickest in the lot.
