As promised, xkmph kolkata is going camping on its first official trip.
the details of the trip are as follows -
place - beloon eco village, near bardhman, about 175 kms from kolkata.
from saturday 19th of november 2011 5am in the morning to sunday 20th november 2011 7pm in the evening.
more info about the place - beloon is a quite and unknown eco village near bardhman where one can get close to nature and enjoy the experience of living in a village of bengal.
the plan is to stay in camping tents on the grasslands beside the river without any basic luxuries like electricity, beds, etc. cooking our own food on bonfire and bathing in the flowing river. we can also indulge in activities like fishing and boating in the river.
the camping tents along with sleeping arrangements like mattresses and pillows will be provided by the people at beloon eco village. they will also provide us with cooking arrangements like stoves, utensils and firewood.
beloon eco village will charge about Rs 1000 per head (negotiation is in process so the price might come down) for the tents and arrangements. fooding expenses are estimated to be around Rs 300 per head.
people who are interested to join are requested to confirm by the 10th of november. some advance may be required to be given.
note of caution - do not expect a luxurious holiday. basic amenities like bed, electricity, toilets, cooked food, etc will not be present.

xKmph Kolkata back in action...  It has been a great time after the kolkata g2g  , thanks to shantanu da & suman da for making it a grand one  ......it helped us a lot in bringing all of us together & making a strong group......... And last but not the least thanks to all our core kolkata xkmphians Soumajit, Ramneek, Arunava, Supriyo, Avtar, Mark, Dev.... for making it so special  After the discussion of the trip the first agreed xKmphians .....i had my hands up too but they were behind the camera  This is going to be a great trip, with one of a kind experience. Hope this first trip brings us a great bonding & we all r looking forward to have a gala time together amidst the woods, without the modern amenities & luxury |
